We are now seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sustainability Director to Husqvarna Construction Division, who will be responsible for the Sustainability strategy and support the transformation towards a more sustainable future.
You will drive and coordinate sustainability initiatives and transformation programs to align with Husqvarna Group’s Sustainability ambitions.

You will lead our three strategy pillars; Carbon, Circular and People and also be a part of the Sustainability team for Husqvarna Group, that consists of team-members from all divisions (Construction, Gardena and Forest and Garden).

Key responsibilities
Lead the Sustainovate program with our three pillars Carbon, Circular and People
Set the ambition level and roadmap for future Sustainability initiatives
Monitor and adapt our way of working according to relevant policies and legislations
Develop and follow-up on the environmental reporting together with Husqvarna Group

· Support and consult the organization in general sustainability related questions
· Develop and manage our carbon calculation and verification approach for our complete value chain emissions
· Encourage innovative thinking and use this mindset to influence, enhance and challenge strategies and product development plans
· Drive and participate in different projects relating to sustainability
· Serve as an internal expert as well as support and consult the organization in climate and environmental topics and in developing roadmaps for carbon emissions reductions targets


Location: This position is based in Jonsered. At Husqvarna we apply a hybrid working model.

Who are you?

Electrical Product Compliance Specialist

As Product Compliance Specialist your responsibility is to ensure that Husqvarna’s products are safe to use, and fulfill the regulatory requirements in our various markets.

Your mission and responsibilities
· Monitor legislation and standards related to Husqvarna’s products. New legislation, but also updates in existing legislation need to be monitored, and determined whether it affects Husqvarna’s products, and how.
· Be part of Husqvarna group’s product compliance networks, and take an active role in relevant national and international standardization committees.
· Assure that relevant stakeholders (R&D, product management, sourcing and manufacturing) are proactively informed about related legislative and standard changes.
· Plan and perform audits with regard to product compliance.
· Take part in new development product projects, OEM projects and product maintenance to secure that product compliance requirements are fulfilled. This includes specifying requirements, certification support, contacts with certification companies, helping with interpretations, and reviewing of technical files and compliance evidence.

Who are you?
You have experience within the area of product compliance, quality management, or technical certification.
You have analytical skills, and the capability to absorb complex information, investigate technical and regulatory publications, interpret, conclude, and communicate necessary actions and impacts.
You like a structured way-of-working, and have good cooperation and communication skills.
Fluent English (verbal and written) is required.
You have bachelor or master degree in engineering or similar.

Knowledge related to electric and battery driven products, and their related requirements, e.g. electrical safety, functional safety, EMC, radio, is beneficial for this position. Knowledge in regulatory fields of energy efficiency, and autonomous products will also be a benefit.

If you have experience in battery technology/development it is advantageous – experience with hybrid (HW/SW and mechanical development) is a must. The Connectivity Center is a new unit in Husqvarna supporting Forest & Garden and Construction developing Connectivity Modules and Software components to be used when creating Connected Products.

In this role you will be part of a new department which is responsible to define and implement, the Supply Chain & Logistics strategy and processes. The department works cross-functional and with all product categories as well as with the sales organization of the Husqvarna Construction division.
Work description
As a Program & Transformation Leader you will be responsible for implementing and driving supply chain & logistic programs based on the priorities and strategy agreed. You will coordinate and align work between multiple functions and teams. Among your task will be to create a understanding and engagement for the program among internal functions and for some programs even cross-division to support the implementation success and change management.
Key work tasks
Support end to end supply chain strategy development and implementations via programs that have scope technical rollouts and process re-design
Conduct assessments, gather input to firm up the priorities for implementation of the supply chain strategy
Design project roadmap and implementation of work streams
Take ownership of projects/program implementations, improvements and results
Define program parameters with input from stakeholders, design and testing , finetuning (if applicable) and implementation

About the position

Your Mission
Our mission for the Dust and Slurry Product Area is to be the innovation market leader in protecting our customers from exposure to dust and slurry on construction job sites. Your mission is to contribute in expanding our technical leadership though innovative and competitive solutions to suppress, collect and dispose dust and slurry as well as cleaning air.

Your Responsibilities
Execute and contribute in technical research and product development projects both internally and with external partners.
Proactively serve dust and slurry engineers with CFD simulations in relation to our machines or sub-systems within vacuum cleaners, cyclones, vents, filters, etc
Define and execute CFD simulation for design validation together with evaluate improvement areas
Work as technical project leader for specific projects mainly in the interface between technology development applied product development.
Proactively support the definition and execution of technology- and feature roadmaps to secure market leadership.
Proactively contribute to the product areas IP and Patent Management
Represent the company as a technical expert in internal and external networks and forums
Understand end customers´ as well as compliance needs and translate them into solutions which create value.

Your Technical Skills and Experiences
Junior engineering experience from relevant product systems (vacuum cleaners, cyclones, vents, filters, etc) or disciplines (fluid dynamics, particle separation, filtration, etc.) is a benefit
Junior experience in product development methodologies and processes.
Junior experience in Lean Agile Product development is a benefit
Aerodynamics knowledge and experience in CFD simulations
Experience in simulation programs, ANSYS and STAR-CCM+
Education. B.SC, MSc degree or equivalent work experience
Catia V5 and Smarteam experience or equivalent program experience

Who are you?
