We are now seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sustainability Director to Husqvarna Construction Division, who will be responsible for the Sustainability strategy and support the transformation towards a more sustainable future.
You will drive and coordinate sustainability initiatives and transformation programs to align with Husqvarna Group’s Sustainability ambitions.

You will lead our three strategy pillars; Carbon, Circular and People and also be a part of the Sustainability team for Husqvarna Group, that consists of team-members from all divisions (Construction, Gardena and Forest and Garden).

Key responsibilities
Lead the Sustainovate program with our three pillars Carbon, Circular and People
Set the ambition level and roadmap for future Sustainability initiatives
Monitor and adapt our way of working according to relevant policies and legislations
Develop and follow-up on the environmental reporting together with Husqvarna Group

· Support and consult the organization in general sustainability related questions
· Develop and manage our carbon calculation and verification approach for our complete value chain emissions
· Encourage innovative thinking and use this mindset to influence, enhance and challenge strategies and product development plans
· Drive and participate in different projects relating to sustainability
· Serve as an internal expert as well as support and consult the organization in climate and environmental topics and in developing roadmaps for carbon emissions reductions targets


Location: This position is based in Jonsered. At Husqvarna we apply a hybrid working model.

Who are you?
To succeed in this role we believe you have a passionate interest in sustainability. We think you have solid experience in project management, driving transformation programs and projects. You have the skills to motivate and empower others to accomplish strategic objectives.

It is a merit if you have experience from a similar position and solid hands-on experience working with sustainability reporting and sustainable business development. If you have experience and knowledge of international climate and environmental target setting frameworks as well as reporting standards (SBT, SBTN, GHG Protocol, CDP, EcoVadis etc.), that’s a plus. You probably have a higher university degree with technical and/or business focus.

To really enjoy this role, it is important that you are a self-starter with strategic and commercial thinking who enjoys delivering results. Your mission and responsibilities
· Monitor legislation and standards related to Husqvarna’s products. New legislation, but also updates in existing legislation need to be monitored, and determined whether it affects Husqvarna’s products, and how.
· Be part of Husqvarna group’s product compliance networks, and take an active role in relevant national and international standardization committees.
· Assure that relevant stakeholders (R&D, product management, sourcing and manufacturing) are proactively informed about related legislative and standard changes.
· Plan and perform audits with regard to product compliance.
· Take part in new development product projects, OEM projects and product maintenance to secure that product compliance requirements are fulfilled. This includes specifying requirements, certification support, contacts with certification companies, helping with interpretations, and reviewing of technical files and compliance evidence.

Who are you?
You have experience within the area of product compliance, quality management, or technical certification.
You have analytical skills, and the capability to absorb complex information, investigate technical and regulatory publications, interpret, conclude, and communicate necessary actions and impacts.
You like a structured way-of-working, and have good cooperation and communication skills.
Fluent English (verbal and written) is required.
You have bachelor or master degree in engineering or similar.

Knowledge related to electric and battery driven products, and their related requirements, e.g. electrical safety, functional safety, EMC, radio, is beneficial for this position. Knowledge in regulatory fields of energy efficiency, and autonomous products will also be a benefit.

Job description
You will be involved in the whole development process from idea generation, conceptual CAD design and CAE evaluation to prototype creation (e.g. 3D printing) and real life testing. The job includes tight cooperation with different parts of the organization such as project and product management, industrial design, aftermarket and manufacturing but also with suppliers, customers and external certification bodies. There will be excellent opportunities to grow your competence and to do something different, always with a lot of variation in your daily work.

As a Senior Engineer, you will have an important role to guide and inspire your colleagues to make us grow together as a team.

Key Responsibilities:
· Conceptualize and design machine systems taking into account maintainability, testability, affordability, safety and security
· Build prototypes and test them to verify the concepts
· Review and discuss concepts and solutions together with your colleagues
· Visit customers and suppliers
· Actively contribute to product safety risk analysis and certification activities
· Break-down of requirements on complete machine level to systems and components such as chassis, grinding head, drive system installation, water system, weights etc.

About the team
The Husqvarna Battery Competence Center (BCC) is a battery development expert team serving the Husqvarna Group with battery and charger solutions. The team is located in four sites, both in Germany and Sweden making the team international.
Generally, as the team is small but a full-fledged vertically integrated battery design and industrialization team, any member of the team will have the opportunity to step outside the ordinary role and help colleagues in their respective domains. This is a high-profile role with an immediate impact on the launches of our product and services. Who are you?

If you have experience in battery technology/development it is advantageous – experience with hybrid (HW/SW and mechanical development) is a must. Essential is however the willingness to learn – this is one of Husqvarna groups most dynamic environment, both from a technology perspective and from an organizational perspective.
You are a highly experienced and driven problem solver who always looks for solutions with a positive approach. To really enjoy the role, it is important that you are analytical and can boil down complex issues to the essential. You are, of course, well organized and thorough with the ability to regularly shift focus from a detailed level to high level perspective.
You probably have a university degree in relevant area, project management certifications is advantageous. We see that you have relevant experience from all project knowledge areas such as managing teams, planning, budgeting, financial follow-up, risk management etc.

You have experience within the area of product compliance, quality management, or technical certification, with focus on exhaust emissions. Additionally meritorious experiences are: risk assessment and risk reduction acc ISO 12100, noise certification and CE marking.

Product Manager Connectivity Modules and Software

The Connectivity Center is a new unit in Husqvarna supporting Forest & Garden and Construction developing Connectivity Modules and Software components to be used when creating Connected Products.
In this role you will be responsible for driving and securing a portfolio of connectivity modules and SW components used to connect machines to the cloud.
It will be your responsibility to capture commercial as well as technical requirements from the involved product groups and maintain a roadmap of relevant assets to manage.
You will participate in forming Connectivity strategy end2end and to evaluate the ongoing technology evolution. This means that you also will include evaluation of requested services from the business units and the corresponding data need from machines.

Key responsibilities (among others)
• Determine and optimize product portfolio of connectivity modules based on divisional needs.
• Create and update product roadmap / launch plan.
• Manage development budget for connectivity modules and the connectivity software platform and develops pertinent reporting and research as requested.
• Responsibility for global competition and market surveillance.
• Define scope & specification for new module development and software components to support relevant connectivity functions.
• Drive product improvement and product roadmap for Connectivity Center.

In the role as DevOps engineer you will work together with others in all those domains, including CI/CD toolchain and development of Azure microservices.

You will be the key to deployment of new production lines, where your software makes sure that every produced product gets the right firmware and configuration.

What do we need?
We are looking for a Software Engineer with technical understanding within embedded systems who are enthusiastic about programming. We always have several different projects ongoing which cover the entire product life cycle, i.e., concepts, new construction and improvements development. This means you will have the opportunity to be involved in projects that are interesting and challenges you.
You will work together with both software- and electronics engineers in both embedded and cloud domains to define, implement, integrate and debug embedded software.
Your tasks includes both new function development and develop improvements to our current products.


Who are you?
To really enjoy the role, it is important that you are a team player who likes to take responsibility, are non-prestigious, likes dynamic and technically challenging projects and can see the big picture. You are creative, take initiatives and like problem solving.
We believe that you have a Bachelor or Master´s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Physics, or equivalent area. If you have some years of experience as a software developer it’s an advantage but not a must. You need to be fluent both in English, written and spoken and in C/C++ programming.

Test Engineer for Husqvarna Construction

About the position
As a test engineer you will, both independently and together with colleagues, be responsible for the testing of our products. You will work throughout the entire development process, from early conceptual experiments to the final verification before releasing a product. Our Test & Verification team for hand-held products work with a variety of products, including power cutters, core drills, power packs, wall saws and tile- and masonry cutters. Each product is represented by its own team of construction engineers, with whom you will collaborate and cooperate on a daily bases. The test engineers of the Handheld team also cooperates closely with the test engineers of other T&V teams.

Furthermore, our products are on a sustainability journey and therefore we work with a wide range of power systems alongside the traditional combustion engines, why our test engineers need to have an investigative approach and curiosity for new technology to ensure that the customer experience and safety is safeguarded, regardless of the technology in use.

The work include, among other things:
· Test of components and systems in endurance testing
· Rebuild products for testing of new parts or repairs
· Testing for product improvement and new development of handheld concrete cutting products
· Plan and prepare machines for tests.
· Build prototypes for testing and evaluation
· Work closely with software, mechanical and electronic hardware engineers
Right now we are looking for
… you that have a particular interest in batteries and data analysis. You have experience in measurement data and systems. Furthermore, you are service minded and flexible and you enjoy collaborating and communicating the results with others.
To succeed in this role, you must like to take initiative and drive your work forward. Great technical curiosity is also a prerequisite as well as that you are practical.

· Have been working a couple of years with similar tasks.
· Have a university degree in mechatronics or electronics or have experience from similar position.


Knowledge in Python is a big advantage.

This is a role with a long-term vision. You are both to support the ERP implementations globally, but also to continuously in parallel, drive process and system improvements, with the mind of best in class development of the global template.
You will contribute to improve effectiveness and efficiency of processes across global operations, in a consistent and as standardized way as possible. The ERP transformation is leveraged as an opportunity to maximize process improvement. You will not be involved in the day-to-day responsibility for operational management of processes, but it is vital that you are open and understand the challenge and reality for those who do. This means that you will need to have close connection to the operational part of the network in this area.

Example of tasks and responsibilities:
Hands-on work with global Group/divisional business process standardization, harmonization and process documentation specific for procurement of components, parts and equipment.
Provide important input regarding business process requirements in the template design phase, and together with the project team drives the as-is analysis, to-be state and the fit-gap analysis.
Balance the desire for standardization with the need for local customizations, with stringent control.
Manage communication with global colleagues regarding process feedback, exceptions and further improvement opportunities.
Work closely with the Global process owner.
Work closely with super users, ensuring global adoption through local presence.
Connect end to end processes that influence the organization , like planning, logistic, manufacturing and sales

About the position
In the role as Operations Director you’re expected to act as the link between the internal IT delivery center for Infrastructure, our partners and the business organization. You will be joining a new unit with the ambition to build this function in close collaboration with the business and internal delivery centers. Initially this will require that you work hands-on until you have a team in place. You will set the processes and routines for the work that will be done in this function for the future.
In this position you will also take an active part in the IT Management Team for the Construction Divison and participate in management decision-making processes. You will report on operations performance to upper management and have an key role in the ongoing strategy work to strengthen the IT delivery.


Other responsibilities are:
Budget responsibility for department.
Be part of steering committees for IT projects.
Support in work and communication around critical incidents.
Build operational excellence and enable IT to be a true partner to the business.
Build and maintain good relations with key business stakeholders as well as internal GIS colleagues.



You will report directly to the Vice President IT Services & Solutions Construction.
This position is located in Jonsered and travels will occur

The right candidate for this role have several years of relevant work experience as a leader working with application management, workplace management and/or infrastructure. Your Mission and Responsibilities
- Lead and Manage our Test and Verification Function (consistent of 6 Product Areas: Demolition Robots, Wall Saws, Floor Saws, Tile and Masonry Saws, Drill Motors and Power Cutters)
- Be a part of Concrete Sawing and Drilling’s R&D Leadership Team and influence the way of working for future needs
- Define, Lead and Implement the Test and Verification Strategy
- Develop, Coach, and Inspire the teams working with Test and Verification
- Drive Change through people and innovative technical solutions
- Work in collaboration with R&D, Product Managers and other stakeholders
- Be hands-on as well as strategic, the job also contains operative work tasks
- Take ownership for all test deliverables, and work proactive with processes, methods to successfully reach the our project targets etc
- Manage the knowledge that has been built up during 20 years, and ensure that it is maintained and is being developed
Who are you?

A background in electronics and battery testing is an advantage. What you will be doing here

Who you are?

Husqvarna Construction Division Global Information Services (CD GIS) is a fairly new organization with the purpose to further strengthen the IT delivery towards the business and be seen as a true business partner. The organization can be seen as a broker between the business and IT. The organization consists of five different functions; Business Engagement, Governance, ERP Competence Center, Operations and Enterprise Architecture.
One of the departments within CD GIS is the Business Engagement Department (CD GIS BE). The purpose of the department is to bridge the gap between the business and IT. - Bachelor of Science or equivalent education or experience.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience; preferably from Business Relationship Management.

Managing our Global Operations for the Concrete Sawing, Drilling and Light Demolition Category
The Concrete Sawing & Drilling Category are providing world-leading equipment such as power cutters, core drills, floor saws and wall saws. The Category is a product company encompassing functions such as product management, R&D, Project management, Compliance and Operations. This category has a strong global market position and revenue of approximately MSEK 2.5 billion annually, with good profitability. As a Global Operations Director you will have the responsibility for developing and implementing the category Operations strategy to include manufacturing, quality and supply planning in-line with category objectives.
Your role as Global Operations Director, includes to secure market leadership by managing and developing world-leading operations. The key objectives for the role is to successfully optimize the supply chain resulting in increased service level with reduced inventory and developing our manufacturing footprint and execution to meet company targets for sustainability, quality, cost and delivery performance.
You report to the Vice President of the Category Concrete Sawing & Drilling, and the role includes the following reporting functions: Manufacturing, S&OP; and Quality & Operational Excellence. You will have approximately 10 direct reports and in total around 200 headcount in the Operations organization.
The category have the responsibility of three factories, Olathe in US, Åsbro in Sweden and Xiamen in China. Power cutters and Drill motors are produced in the Huskvarna factory in Sweden, where the category is a customer.


Areas of responsibility
The Global Operations Director is a member of the Category management team, and leads the Operations in successfully managing its key tasks:
Develop category Operations strategy
Achieving performance targets by actively optimizing the utilization of multi-site assets (people, equipment, inventory etc)
Develop and strategically build the Operation’s leadership, organization, and competence
Coach, set goals, follow up and provide feedback to all direct reporting functions
Drive preventive and reactive quality improvement and secure quick turn-around times
Ensure an effective, end-to-end high-service supply chain with low operating capital
Constantly challenge unsafe behaviours or practices and follow through to a satisfactory outcome
Drive rapid and consistent increase of productivity and PPV/OMV

Som konstruktör i vårt team förväntas du jobba såväl praktiskt som teoretiskt och konstruktion med kundfokus är en självklarhet för oss.

Teamet består i dagsläget av 12 personer och tjänsten är placerad vid Husqvarna Construction i Jonsered.

Rollen innebär
. Konstruktion av handhållna kapmaskiner i CAD
. Produktvård av befintliga produkter
. Kontakt med såväl lab som produktionsenhet i samband med nyprojekt och produktvård
. Skapa produktstrukturer och monteringsinstruktioner
. Delta i projektteam

Din profil
. Eftergymnasial ingenjörsutbildning
. Minst 2 års erfarenhet som Mekanikkonstruktör där du jobbat med Catia eller annat Cadprogram
. Bra kommunikationsförmåga i både svenska och engelska

Det är meriterande om du har erfarenhet från konstruktion av handhållna maskiner och/eller konstruktion av gjutna detaljer i plast och lättmetall.
Som person är du strukturerad och bra på att planera ditt arbete. Du har lätt för att ta till dig nya kunskaper, är praktiskt lagd och har en stor teknisk nyfikenhet.

I rollen som senior systemarkitekt/konstruktör på Husqvarna Construction kommer du framför allt att arbeta med utveckling av elektronik för styrning av elmotorer och kraftomvandling.

Du kommer att delta i olika produktutvecklingsprojekt i nära samarbete med övriga kollegor inom R&D. Du kommer vara ledande med din expertis under produkternas livscykel; från design och implementering till produktion och underhåll.

Vem är du
Den vi söker är ingenjör med lång erfarenhet av utveckling och konstruktion inom kraftelektronik. Det är en merit om du även har erfarenhet av motorstyrning av elmotorer. För att lyckas i rollen behöver du ha erfarenhet av både simulering och layout-arbete inom elektronikområdet.

Som person är du bekväm med att ta initiativ och agerar med självförtroende. Vi söker någon som tycker om att delta i flera projekt samtidigt och som sätter höga normer för kvalitet. Det är viktigt att du har bra samarbetsförmåga och är lyhörd inför dina kollegor.

För tjänsten krävs att du är analytisk, noggrann och strukturerad samt att du kommunicerar bra på både svenska och engelska.
